This is a chart entry dated August 28th 2023.

This entry documents a positive interaction with a specific physician. Unlike other doctors encountered during my father's hospitalization, this physician demonstrated genuine engagement and compassion.

The physician took the time to sit with my father and utilize his communication device to discuss his goals of care.

My father clearly expressed his desire to be transferred to a chronic ventilator facility.

Unfortunately not long after this, "the Wolf" decided she wanted to let my father die instead.
